The organizers of rally "Sliven" 2017 have been trying not to let the spectators bored in the minutes before and after the finale of the super-special stage on Friday evening (September 1st). On the route of the first speed line will be launched some of the most famous Bulgarian Drift Drivers Volen Vassilev, Emil Petkov, Kiril Iliev, Kamen Neykov, Angel Chernev, Ivan Bozhkov and Pavlin Penev.

A strong battle is expected by the crews who declared their participation in group E in the forthcoming rally "Sliven" 2017. A total of five tandems submitted applications - the champion for the last year in the group Todor Atanasov and his new co-driver Vladimir Vladimirov (VAZ 2108), local crews Stoyan Mechkov / Ivan Enev (Renault Clio Maxi), Mihail Boev / Stefan Kanchev (VAZ 2108), Mario Popov / Daniel Metchikiyan (Ford Fiesta ST) and the representatives of Hobby-Car Plamen Panteleev / Krasimir Mehandjiyski (VW Polo).

The leaders in national rally championship Tihomir Stratiev and Dobrin Borisov will stand at the start of 37-th rally "Sliven". Marina Motorsport crew who relies on Peugeot 208 R2 leads after the first two rounds in rally "Bulgaria" and "Tvarditsa-Elena" rally. In addition, one of the strong crews in Bulgarian championship sent their entry form too - Grigor Grigorov and Daniel Milenkov with Peugeot 208 R2.

The InnoMotion Racing crew Stanislav Vladimirov and Chavdar Sabev sent his entry form for participation in37th rally "Sliven". The champions in Bulgarian championship for young drivers for season 2016 will start with the well-known Opel Astra GSi in class RC 3, and their hopes are for a successful finish. Last year they finished sixth in the overall standings and scored a win in their class.

The driver of Jasen Popov Racing Daniel Popov returnts to rally "Sliven"! One of the most talented young Bulgarian rally drivers has submitted his application for participation in the fourth round of Bulgarian rally championship. On the right seat next to Dani in their Peugeot 208 R2 will be his uncle Dilyan Popov.

The number of local crews who have sent their entry forms to participate in 37-th rally "Sliven" reached six, after two more tandems from Sliven submitted requests to the organizers from ASK "Scorpion". These are Damian Slavov and Kaloyan Slavov (Citroen C2) and Stefan Zhelyazkov / Ivan Turlakov (Citroen Saxo). The total number of crews claimed is 21.

Three new entries have been received today by SC "Megaport". Their wish to start in 37-th rally "Sliven" confirmed the crews Miroslav Angelov / Nedyalko Sivov (Peugeot 208 R2), Emil Denev / Bogomil Nenov (Renault Clio) and Anton Titov / Dinko Georgiev (Citroen DS3 R3T). With the new three entries, the total number of crews that will represent SC "Megaport" became 4. The first were debutants Svetozar Kolev / Pavlin Kalchev.

One of the leading Romanian crews, Dan Girtofan and Tudor Marza, announced their participation in the 37th edition of rally "Sliven". Girtofan and Marza are second in the standings of Romanian Rally Championship and will rely on their brand new Skoda Fabia R5 for the event in Bulgaria. With the request of the Prorally Team Brasov crew, R5 cars became 3.

The winner of last year's edition of rally "Sliven" Plamen Staykov submitted his application for participation this year as well. For a second consecutive year, Staykov, who competes with a Georgian license, will rely on David Kvaratskhelia - Davidone and the familiar Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX.

One of the strongest Sliven’s rally drivers Dilian Stankov is coming back to the national rally championship in his home rally "Sliven". After failing to start at rally "Tvardica-Elena" 2017, because of an accident during the recce, Stankov and his new co-driver Stanislav Rashev will be looking for a good result on their well-known stages in the Sliven mountains. They already have sent their entry to the organizers of the fourth round of the national rally championship.
