52 crews sent entry forms for 39. Monbat Rally Sliven

Fifty-two crews from 7 nationalities sent entry forms for participation in the 39th Monbat Rally Sliven - the second round of the Bulgarian rally championship and the fourth round of the FIA Balkan Rally Trophy. The competition will include a round of Bulgarian rally-sprint championship.
Most foreign crews come from Greece - 4, with two crews being Romania and Turkey, and with one Hungary and Serbia.
With first number will be the champions and current leaders in Balkan Rally Trophy Dan Girtofan and Tudor Marza (Pro Rally Team Brasov, Skoda Fabia R5). Second number is for champion for season 2018 in the Bulgarian Rally Championship Miroslav Angelov who will be for the second consecutive competition with his new co-driver Georgi Gadzhev. They will also be with Skoda Fabia R5. With competition number 3 will be Tihomir Stratiev and Edi Sivov (Marina Motorsport, Ford Fiesta Proto). Attractive Turkish crew Mustafa Chakal and Ozden Yuilmaz will be with number 4 and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX.
After them will be the champions in the Bulgarian Rally Championship for the season 2015 Georgi Vassilev and Stefan Dobrev (Dianel, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX). However, they are registered only for the rally-sprint race. After them are the champions in the group E Kalin Benchev and Alexander Spirov (Subaru Impreza WRX Sti) and the leaders in ERT 2 class of Balkan Rally Trophy Yordan Atanasov and Yanaki Yanakiev (ART Racing, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX).
Extremely interesting will be the battle in 2wd cars cattegory where very strong crews are registered. Grigor Grigorov (Peugeot 208 R2) will be with number 8, followed by the strong Hungarian crew Georgo Dudas / Kristian Szabo (Peugeot 208 R2) and the RC 3 champions Anton Titov and Dinko Georgiev (Citroen DS3 R3).
Eleven crews will only run for the rally-sprint championship, with a total of 33 registered for this championship.
