Mr. Vili Kamenov is Commercial Manager of Starter Batteries in Monbat Economic Group, who is the general sponsor for the second consecutive year of Rally Sliven. Mr. Kamenov was kind to answer our questions about the motives that prompted the Monbat Economic Group to give its name to the rally.

Nikola Mishev will make his debut in Monbat Rally Sliven with a new co-driver. The Boila Automotorsport competitor will rely on Yavor Brankov for accurate navigation on the difficult stages near Sliven. Mishev gained experience with the new Peugeot 208 R2 during the 50th Rally Bulgaria, but a mistake on the first day did not allow him to fight for a good result.

Two Turkish crews have applied for participation in the fourth round of the Balkan Rally Trophy - Monbat Rally Sliven. The attractive Mustafa Cakal will rely on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX car again, but will be with a new co-driver - Ozden Yilmaz. This is going to be the first start for Cakal this season.

Kiril Todorov and Georgi Avramov from the team of Astra Racing submitted their etnry form for participation in Monbat Rally Sliven 2019, second round of Bulgarian rally championship. The two had a difficult start of the season after the technical problems and the accident in the rally "Bulgaria", but will look for a positive result in Sliven.

Strong Hungarian crew Georgo Dudas / Kristian Szabo sent entry form for participation in the Monbat Rally Sliven 2019. The Hungarians made a very strong ride in 50. Rally Bulgaria, winning the 2wd cattegory and finishing sixth in the overall standings.

Last season ERT 2 champions in Balkan Rally Trophy Yordan Atanasov and Yanaki Yanakiev sent their entry form for participation in the 39th Monbat Rally Sliven. The ART Racing crew will start on June 28 with the well-known Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, on board of  which they won the title.

The winner of the 38th Monbat Rally Sliven Miroslav Angelov will defend his victory with a new co-driver. This is clear from the entry from sent from Megaport Racing today. Next to Angelov in Skoda Fabia R5 will be Georgi Gadzhev.

The champions for 2018 and leaders in this year's Balkan Rally Trophy Dan Girtofan and Tudor Marza (C.S Pro Rally Team Brasov) sent their entry form for the 39th Monbat Rally Sliven today. Girtofan and Marza will be on board of the well known Skoda Fabia R5. Romanian tandem started for last time in Sliven in 2017 season, finishing third in the general standings.

Monbat Rally Sliven 2019 will host the second round of the national rally sprint championship. The organizers of the rally declared their readiness to provide the opportunity to the crews participating in the Rally Sprint Championship some months ago. After voting among the participants in the discipline, the proposal was approved.

The number of entries to participate in the 39th Monbat Rally Sliven reached 5, after local crews proved to be the most active in their desire to start in the rally so far. Mario Popov and Daniel Metchikian from Doctor Speed (Ford Fiesta ST, E1) and Mihail Boev / Dimitar Gochev (Peugeot 106 GTI, E1) were registered in the last days. Their names, as well as the other entries, can be found in the "Entrants list" section, which is updated live.
