Thirty-four crews started the recce
Thirty-four crews registered and began to explore the thirteen special stages of rally "Sliven" 2107. One of the main favorites for the victory in the fifth round of Balkan Rally Trophy Yagiz Avci (Neo Motorsport, Peugeot 208 T16 R5), did not arrive in Sliven . Besides, two more crews of the Turkish team Neo Motorsport did not register for the tour - Osman Ugur / Tugba Bora (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) and Ferhat Tanribilir / Kutay Ertugrul(Peugeot 208 R2).
The Turkish crews sent an official letter to the organizers of rally "Sliven" 2017, pointing out logistical problems with their cars as the main reason for the inability to start the race.
Georgian crew Alexander Lomadze / Mevludi Meladze also did not start the recce.
From bulgarian crews only Dianel Racing representatives Plamen Valev / Dimitar Dimittrov (Honda Civic Type R) did not register for the recce. They pointed out serious technical problems with their car as a reason not to start the rally.
