Nikolay Kortelov and Nasko Tsonev are one of the most experienced crews in the national championship, not missing a round of national championship in recent years. In the season 2017 Kortelov and Tsonev finished 19th in the general ranking of Rally Sliven and fourth in the RC 3 class.

According to organizers, serious interest in this year's edition of the competition by Romanian, Serbian and Turkish crews. The deadline for submitting the entry forms for rally Sliven2018  is July 11, and the list of crews claimed will be published a week later.
