Megaport Racing crew Miroslav Angelov and Edi Sivov (Skoda Fabia R5, RC 2) won the 38th Monbat Rally Sliven - second round of Bulgarian Rally Championship and the fourth round of Balkan Rally Trophy. Angelov and Sivov won 10 out of 11 special stages and in the final the difference with the second place crew Yordan Atanasov and Yanaki Yanakiev (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, RC 2) is impressive - 3: 12.8 minutes.

Mistake for Tihomir Stratiev in "Karandila" special stage

Miroslav Angelov and Nedyalko Sivov will be at the top of the 38th Monbat Rally Sliven with a strong lead after first day. The Megapart Racing crew won five of the six special stages today and gained an advance of 2: 54.0 minutes ahead of Yordan Atanasov and Yanaki Yanakiev (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, RC 2). ART Racing crew approached dangerously close to the leaders before the service, but in the second passes of the three special stages were damaged in the rear differential and lagged behind. Third are Grigor Grigorov and Petar Sivov (Peugeot 208 R2, RC 4), who have a 6 second advance in the battle for the last place on the podium.

Megaport Racing crew Miroslav Angelov and Edi Sivov (Skoda Fabia R5) broke out with a minute's advance ahead of their rivals Yordan Atanasov and Yanaki Yanakiev (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX). Having managed to narrow the gap with Angelov to just 7 seconds in the last stage before the service park, Atanasov has passed special stage "Kaculka" 2 on hazard lights. It costs him a minute and four seconds lagging in the stage. The battle for the third place continues with full force - Grigor Grigorov and Petar Sivov lead with only three-tenths of Tihomir Stratiev and Dobrin Borisov.

Strong battle in special stage 2 "Binkos"

A stong battle was formed at the start of the second day of the 38th Monbat Rally Sliven. The "Binkos" stage was won by Miroslav Angelov and Nedyalko Sivov (Megaport Racing, Skoda Fabia R5) and Yordan Atanasov and Yanaki Yanakiev (ART Racing, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) finished just 6 seconds behind. The third place for the stage was for Grigor Grigorov and Petar Sivov (Grigorov Racing, Peugeot 208 R2) with a passive of 20.3 seconds.

Megaport Racing crew Miroslav Angelov / Nedyalko Sivov (Skoda Fabia R5, RC 2) won the opening super-special stage of the 38th Monbat Rally Sliven. Angelov and Sivov made a strong ride in front of the many thousands of specators who had reached the end of the boulevards around the railway station in Sliven. Second in 1.9 sec. after Angelov and Sivov finished Grigor Grigorov and Peter Sivov with Peugeot 208 R2. The third place was reserved for Yordan Atanasov and Yanaki Yanakiev with Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX and a 4.4 second delay.
