Krum Donchev (Peugeot 207 S2000): "Everything was going well until we had a puncture. On the 2nd km of SS5 Bulgarka 1 we went through a large stone that was hidden in the shadow. I could not see it, I just felt it. We had to stop and change the tyre, so we lost a lot of time."

Robert Consani (Renault Megane RS): "It was a really bad day for us, extremely bad. We had a serious problem with the engine. We are losing a lot of power, maybe half of it and we do not know why. I also had problems with the drive shaft. We will change it but I do not know if we will be able to change the engine. I do not like the rally because it does not suit my style. There is a lot of fraction on the track but that is not the problem because I am very slow right now."

Harry Hunt (Citroen DS3): "That was a really bad day for us. We spin, we came out of the road and we lost 13 minutes. The car got stuck and there was no one around to help us. We had to lift the car in order to get back to the rally. That took us 13 minutes! It is all gone now. We can fight for 8-9 place in order to get some points for the championship. It is sad because the rally is really good and we had a chance to score lots of points. It is shame that such a small mistake could cost us so much. That is racing after all and we have to perform at our maximum."

Ekaterina Stratieva (Citroen C2 R2 MAX): "It was very difficult for me in the first stages because the car was not turning left. We had problems with the rear suspension. We solved it and we were going well in the next stages. It was wonderful with lots of fans and great roads. We were smiling the whole time. Now we have another problem. In SS9 Bulgarka 2 we had problems with the engine. Now we are trying to do something about it and solve it."
