Miroslav Angelov and Edi Sivov won the 38th Monbat Rally Sliven

Megaport Racing crew Miroslav Angelov and Edi Sivov (Skoda Fabia R5, RC 2) won the 38th Monbat Rally Sliven - second round of Bulgarian Rally Championship and the fourth round of Balkan Rally Trophy. Angelov and Sivov won 10 out of 11 special stages and in the final the difference with the second place crew Yordan Atanasov and Yanaki Yanakiev (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, RC 2) is impressive - 3: 12.8 minutes.

Atanasov and Yanakiev managed to repair the Mitsubishi's broken rear differential in the morning service and regained the pace of the first race day.

Third, after attractive battle with Tihomir Stratiev and Dobrin Borisov (Peugeout 208 R2, RC 4) finished Grigorov Racing crew Grigor Grigorov and Petar Sivov (Peugeot 208 R2, RC 4).

Last season's champions in Bulgarian Rally Championship, Stratiev and Borisov, made a mistake in the first pass of the "Karandila" stage, losing over 13 seconds and the opportunity to attack Grigorov and Sivov.

Mustafa Chakal and Mehmet Koleoglu (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, RC 2), finished fifth in the final with gap of 5:07.9 minutes behind the winners.

Both ladies' crews - Diana Stoyanova / Ivanela Ivanova (Honda Civic Type R, RC 3) and Romanians Cristiana Oprea / Diana Hategan (Dacia Sandero, RC 5), successfully completed the race.

The winners of the different classes became:

- Class RC 2: Miroslav Angelov / Edi Sivov (Skoda Fabia R5)

- Class RC 3: Anton Titov / Dinko Georgiev (Citroen DS3 R3T)

- Class RC 4: Grigor Grigorov / Peter Sivov (Peugeot 208 R2)

- Class RC 5: Dennis Stanchovski / Mladen Karchev (Hyundai i20 Coupe)
