Ukrainian driver Yuriy Protasov was fastest in the official shakedown before the start of Rally Yalta, round 10 of Intercontinental Challenge. Protasov, who is for the first time behind the wheel of Ford Fiesta S2000 RRC, was 1.3 seconds ahead the Finnish newcomer to the IRC Mikko Pajunen (Ford Fiesta S2000). Third in the shakedown was another driver with Ford Fiesta S2000 - Yagiz Avci (Turkey). The gap between him and Protasov was 6 seconds.
