Romanian rally driver Cristiana Oprea announced her season for the season 2019. Oprea, which finished last season 25th in the overall standings of Monbat Rally Sliven 2018, will participate in three events. For the joy of the local audience, Cristiana has included the 39th edition of Monbat Rally Sliven in her program.

The process of registration of the participants in the 39th Monbat Rally Sliven was opened with the publication of the Supplementary Regulation and the Entry Form. The deadline for accepting applications is until June 13, and the Entry list will be published on June 19.

The organizers of the 39th Monbat Rally Sliven submitted to the Bulgarian Automobile Sports Federation a proposal for inclusion in the program of the competition and a round of the Bulgarian Rally Sprint Championship. The goal of ASC Scorpion is to ensure that another round of rally sprint championship is held, as well as to provide maximum emotion to the thousands of spectators who will visit the event in Sliven.

The route of 39. Monbat Rally Sliven is ready. The organizers will put the participating crews ahead of a serious challenge again, changing the scheme to last year's edition. Monbat Rally Sliven 2019 is the second round of the Bulgarian Rally Championship and the fourth round of the FIA Balkan Rally Trophy.

For a second consecutive year, Monbat Rally Sliven will have new dates. For the 39th edition of the competition, the organizers chose the last weekend of June - from 28 to 30 June. The competition, which in recent years proved to be the best Bulgarian rally, will be the second round of Bulgarian Rally Championship and third round of FIA Balkan Rally Trophy.

The preparation of the 38th edition of rally "Sliven" 2018 is in full force. The competition just recived its new dates from FIA and will take place from 27 to 29 July. Rally is traditionally a round of the national rally championship of Bulgaria and is part of FIA European Rally Trophy - Balkan Zone. For this year's edition, rally "Sliven" 2018 will also offer to the crews 99% brand new special stages.

На 28 октомври 2017 г. рали "Сливен" загуби един от своите организационни стълбове - Димитър Димитров. Димитров загуби дългата и тежка борба с бъбречна недостатъчност. Всички, които познаваха Димитър Димитров го описват като добър и скромен човек. Димитров бе важна част от организацията на рали "Сливен" изпълнявайки отговорната роля "Отговорник на етап".

The crew from Varna Todor Atanasov and Vladimir Vladimirov (VAZ 2108) recorded a convincing victory in rally "Sliven" 2017 in group E. Atanasov and Vladimirov confirmed their strong performance in the race and with 12th place in the general ranking. In the second position in the group finished the crew of Mario Popov / Daniel Mecikyan (Ford Fiesta ST) at 5: 47.6 minutes after Atanasov and the third place was for Mihail Boev / Ivaylo Zahariev (Peugeot 106 Rallye) at 9: 27.7 minutes by the winner.

The crew of Staykov Racing Georgia Plamen Staykov and David Kvaratskhelia (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) won the 37th rally "Sliven". For Staykov this is third triumph after the victories in 2014 and 2016. In the second place finished Turkish crew Orhan Avcioglu (TOKSPORT WRT, Ford Fiesta R5) with 37.3 seconds behind the winner, and third was the Romanian tandem Dan Girtofan / Tudor Marza (CS Prorally Team Brasov, Skoda Fabia R5) at 52.4 seconds from Staykov.
